Session Description:
In 1967, a sports program featured Dick Fosbury and his high jump the 'Fosbury Flop'. Everyone thought Dick was a little crazy jumping backwards in the high jump. We laughed until Dick won the Olympic high jump gold in Mexico and by the 1980 Olympics - 13 of the 16 high jumping finalists were 'flopping'. How is Dick Fosbury relevant to this presentation? Who is Dick Fosbury and what can we learn from him and his famous 'Fosbury Flop'?

In this session we will be breaking a few taboos as well as challenging conventional wisdom by discussing in public the barriers that are preventing the true integration of IT and the Business. Just the nature of having IT as a separate function creates artificial and real barriers that we must break as soon as possible. Learn about these barriers, why they exist and expert advice about what we can do to remove them and begin a healthy relationship with the business.

This session will be delivered by Malcolm Fry with all the insight, experience and humor we have come to know, expect and appreciate from this Industry legend.
