Session Description:
In today’s competitive business environment, leading a company or business through a transition successfully is often a matter of survival. Changes in technology, business models, competition, and globalization require fluid strategies and the ability to manage rapid change. Business leaders need to develop the skills necessary to drive changes that allow companies to capitalize on these ever-changing forces. In his 30-year career in the world of high tech business, Rick Belluzzo has confronted many of these challenges and opportunities. In each case he has been able to learn new strategies for successfully leading companies through transitions. Rick led the HP printer business in the late 1980s, managed the Internet and consumer businesses at Microsoft, led Quantum through a business transition and more. Rick learned that here are always common principles and experiences when leading a company through change. In this information-packed session based on his three decades of real-world high tech business management experience, Rick will share the lessons he’s learned.
